Its exactly the same as you would be saying if he has scored 1 goal so far and people were saying that they were proved right and he is pants, you'd be saying wait till next season, don't kneejerk, needs to get used to the prem and all that.

Plenty of strikers have come to the prem and looked great for the first few months. And then gone onto suck.

Nobody wants Jelavic to do that but he needs to keep up his current form next season before we can truly judge him.
