Literally his first senior league appearance. He was obviously going to be targeted and the senior players and the manager should’ve made a plan to help him out with that. Same way every man and his dog knew Godfrey was going to be targeted against Southampton yet...nothing

It’s true, the same is true on the right hand side but people in the Kenny thread seem to think it’s Kenny’s fault he didn’t get the ball, beat two men, put it on a plate for DCL.
A shambolic experiment from carlo that left both fullbacks easily marked, completely isolated, no movement around them, no opportunity for combination play. Two young full backs doing their best with chaos going on around them.
