Neither were Everton and Kovac. Hey ho.Dont know why people fall for it - Arsenal and Kovac where not in the same sentence until he rocked up at Goodison yesterday.

"Interviewing" and "hiring" are two different things. We could have had Favre but went with the moon headed Dutch tit.We interviewed some good candidates before Koeman was chosen. Managers who would have taken this job on. People need to have faith in the pulling power of the PL + a club of this size: the biggest outside the elite clubs.
The fact they are still trying to clean up the mess left from Kovac’s management doesn’t mean the current incumbent is necessarily bad. It would be like Duncan struggling to turn it around here and having patchy form.Bayern Munich has perhaps the most lethal CF in the world atm and still they perform awfully with their current manager, 7th in the league atm... Bunch of overpayed primadonnas. Kovac as #1 and Big Dunc as his second to whip up the boys, Id take that
I am sure they will be very interested in your son if he can guarantee them one trophy this season let alone three.Bayern Munich? Is that the team he inherited off the best manager in the world? The team that my 11 year old could have won the domestic treble with?
Yeah - we need a guy who tries to stab his mate in the back following a personal crisis!I would prefer Robert Moreno former Spanish National Team who hasn't team now because Luis Enrique doesn't want him as a second. Luis Enrique said that he is too ambicious and I think Everton need a manager like him.
Nah - Moreno had an obligation to step aside and assist his “friend” again. Moreno is the one who is an utter snake as far as I’m concerned. He would have probably gotten the job after Enrique left anyway if he had not been so dishonorable. The Spanish FA obviously felt the same. They totally tanked after that result iirc.
His child was sick, he stepped away to be with her then after she died and he had some time to grieve he stepped back.
Hardly a snake...Moreno meanwhile went behind his close friends back (who had hired him in the first place) and asked the FA to keep him in the job.
For me, Moreno should have told Enrique what he wanted and they should have given the FA an option and one should have left.
Usually they try and blend in an not draw attention to themselves! When was the last time we had an out of work manager of his profile at Goodison?

That association seems to value honor (look at how they sacked the manager who announced he was taking Real before the World Cup). He should have borne that in mind.
Yeah. Also, it’s not like Luis Enrique Is a legendary former player and Champions League winning manager or anything!Spot on a dead right about the Real example![]()

Oh and being German helps.I am sure they will be very interested in your son if he can guarantee them one trophy this season let alone three.
Plus, "the best manager in the world" was hired by them to win them the Champions league and failed.
There is something very important when talking about Bayern managers. If someone is to be really successful there, he needs to "get" the club fully. Perhaps that is why a fairly unspectacular manager like Heynkess did much better for them than people like Guardiola and Ancelotti.
True. The only advantage to that is if they improve us along the way.If this guy is trying to decide between us an Arsenal do we really want someone who needs convincing? It would be another appointment were they view us as a stepping stone.
