Hats off to the Chiefs, they’ve closed the game out superbly.

The Texans did a lot of good things.

Their defence played well. CJ played pretty well. Schultz played well. Collins was fantastic.

But their O line was awful and they had 4 awful special teams plays. Not going to win tough away games with a ton of special teams mistakes.

Fairbairn was awful. But the Chiefs took care of business on offence, defence and special teams. That was the difference

If they win the SB this is an all time great D. The O is avg at best. Heck the offense let the Texans off the hook after the 4th down sack and the D just took the game over.

Chiefs and Spags in particular are the ultimate closers in these situations

Mahomes is probably the most clutch QB in NFL history.

The Texans did a lot of good things.

It was an unserious effort at winning a game that a serious team had a shot to win. A lot of soul searching ahead about who they want to be in the future.

They were the better team because they didn't make many mistakes. They very rarely make those big errors like other teams and its what separates them. I think Reid has to take a lot of the credit.

The poor officiating was not enjoyable to watch though. We can't have a situation where a defender can't tackle a QB who's moving down the field.

That concludes the pre-season for the Chiefs.

They can move into regular season mode next week and then playoff mode in the Super Bowl.

Against the Packers last week, the Eagles' O played about as well as KC's did today and that was largely seen as a poor performance by Philly's standards.

I still think they are very beatable but teams need to avoid basic errors. You can't have special teams mistakes and you need your O line to protect the quarter back. Because you know the Chiefs will not make those mistakes.

You have to play a basically flawless game.

No team can really do that against them. Their defense is too good and Mahomes will always come up with something special.
