It's really weird that more teams haven't rushed 3 and made Mahomes think. The Cincinnati model should be the playbook defensively until he can prove he can beat it.

I agree. As good as Mahomes is he's never really consistently shown he can stand in the pocket awhile and throw. He gets it out fast and is excellent or scrambles and is excellent but he doesn't sit there and wait to find guys that often. The issue is containing the scrambles.

Chiefs were fantastic last night, had to work hard for their win and you just knew Mahomes would be able to drive them up the field with barely a couple of minutes on the clock. Chargers have been decimated by injury, but they have the makings of something really good there, hope they make the playoffs
Jacksonville, the Texans and the Raiders spring to mind.
But that Chargers D is awful. How on earth they've won five games this year is beyond me.
Reid does a great job of gameplanning and playcalling in ways that maximise the resources he has available.
The Kansas OL doesn't give up a lot of pressure and Kelce is possibly the best in the history of the NFL when it comes to yards after the catch. A steady diet of short, high percentage passes to a dude who is bigger than every corner and faster than most linebackers will reap a LOT of rewards for minimal risk.
The interesting wrinkle last night was the Kansas running game. Pacheo (sp?) carried 15 times for a 7.1yd average per carry. If Kansas can maintain THAT then it makes their offense far more balanced, and will stymie defenses who double Kelce, rush 3 guys and sit everyone else in coverage.

I feel like the 49ers are the team best placed in the nfc to make the Super Bowl
The 49ers looked brilliant last night, so many ways they can hurt teams and their defence is getting healthy now too. They were my pre-season pick and I am even more convinced they are lifting the Lombardi this year.
