NFL 2022 Season

I like Jeff Saturday. I have no clue if he’s qualified to lead an NFL team, but based on his resume, the answer is no. He will however have some good insight re the offensive line and maybe they’ll be able to get Taylor and co going now.
I've read his HS team is 1-8 this year.

They're saying they don't think it is bad and also talking about his UCL and the surrounding nerves which when that happens to baseball pitchers usually leads to Tommy John. So I guess we'll see but it could be bad.

and he still managed to throw the balls the furthest in 6 years even with a gammy elbow!

Mid season awards for me and it’s quite clear that the NFL MVP award is Mahomes to lose at this point. He’s effectively a one man offense both running and passing in the way Lamar or Hurts will never be. On pace to break the single season passing record as well.

You just can’t trust Buffalo not to slip up at points especially with Allen’s apparent injury, and the Chiefs have just completed an insanely difficult schedule (apparently the first time in league history that a team has started with 8 straight games against teams with a winning record the previous season) and yet are tied for 1st place in the conference.

I’m expecting a classic Reidian run from here on as he specialises in late season form. Hopefully we will get the 1 seed again.

Mahomes is third on the Chiefs in rushing yards?

His scrambling is impressive but he's not really a dual threat QB by current standards. He's my MVP too at this point but really it is going to end up with whichever AFC QB gets the 1 seed I think.

I wasn’t talking about scrambling alone, I’m talking about the overall mix of passing and running. Overall he has the best combination of the 2, of any qb.

When I look at Allen I see a guy who relies on his arm to get the job done and if for some reason it’s not working isn’t necessarily able to adjust.

with Mahomes I see a very strong character who is determined to drag his team over the line and will reach deep to ensure he does. Completed passes to 12 different receivers last week apparently.

If you're not talking about scrambling this isn't true. Mahomes doesn't do designed runs.

As I said before I don't really see Mahomes as a dual threat QB in modern terms.
I can see exactly where you trying to go with this and it doesn’t stack up. I don’t see Lamar as a legitimate competitor to the top passers in the game like Mahomes or Allen. I would go as far as to say he is part of the problem for Baltimore not making Super Bowls.

I’d rather have 20% of his running ability with 80% of Allen’s passing for example.

Look at the teams who’ve won Super Bowls in the last 10 years. Where are the dual threat qbs?
