I could point out a couple of Herbert picks that were dropped as well, plus a PI near the goal line when the Chiefs were attempting to ice the game

The reality is despite all your coulda, shoulda BS, the only player who made the catastrophic error last night was Herbert who literally threw the game away.

If you werent discussing a guy who has been to 4 straight AFC title games, 2 Super Bowls, NFL M V and the highest QB rating in NFL history your points might seem relevant - as they are they are they simply stand to be picked apart.
Mate Herbert was bad too. But the difference was the Chiefs defense caught the ball he threw right to them.

We'll see how Mahomes gets on the rest of the way. To me it still looks like he's bad at what he's always been bad at and doesn't have the Tyreek Hill bailout card to play.

Last night was not a good offensive game on either side.

Sure, I mean you have openly claimed that not having Hill would stop the Chiefs from doing anything this year of note, so you have no room to maneouvre.

The facts are last night was about as bad as you will see Mahomes play, and he still won.

I don't remember what my exact words were but I feel pretty confident that they're going to have issues that they haven't the last few years.

As I've said last night was about as bad as you will see Mahomes play. And you know it.

Most teams in the league are on or around the Arizona level, so we will see what happens when he plays those types of teams.

Next week against Indy for example should be interesting.

Do I stay up for Packers Bears and end up wasting my holiday in bed or do I go to bed after redzone and get up at a reasonable time and watch it in the morning and skip through the ad breaks

Decisions decisions

I mean he did the same thing in the second half of the AFC title game too. That's only two games removed. Most teams in the league might be Arizona level of talent (I disagree I think Arizona is bad) but they won't be Arizona level of stupid so we'll see how that goes.

That’s how I feel every weekend when i debate getting up at 5 to watch Palace play Arsenal or something like that. Usually the answer is, it’s not worth it.

The point is, for every dubious game Mahomes has (and which he usually guts out a win anyway), he has about 4 or 5 all world performances, you can look back through his career and that statement is supported.
