well I didn’t see it live but another car crash of a game apparently via the highlights.

Assume that’s the last we see of Rodgers in Green Bay

Green Bay did pretty much nothing on offence but the niners did even less.

The game swung on special teams. The blocked FG at the end of the first half where packers would have been up 2 scores- huge in those conditions. Then the blocked punt for a TD to level it with 6 mins left. That was straight after GB had got a turnover on downs.

Packers lost the game rather than SF winning it. A proper bottle job. The defence gave up 6 points and they couldn't win.

yeah only 10 men on the field for the final FG as well apparently

Yeah the special teams have been appalling all season. Last in the league by a long way.

But the offence did absolutely nothing after Lewis fumbled on the second drive with Packers about to go up 2 scores. Completely went away from the run and inexplicably had one catch to receivers not called Adams, and one to a TE that resulted in a fumble.

Special teams is a major issue, but they get away with it if Rodgers and the offence are moderately good.

Right tonights games I am going for the Rams and the Chiefs (but I really am picking the Chiefs with little confidence, I can easily see Buffalo winning, as long as the crowd dont get to them)

I'm starting to think this could be the end for Rodgers in Green Bay and the end of this team.

There are so many of the good players who are out of contract and they might even have to tag Adams. I hope I'm wrong, but I think this was the chance of a superbowl and they blew it. The thought of a rebuild with Jordan Love doesn't particularly fill me with confidence. These things come in cycles and I think this cycle is over and they didn't make the most of it.

That game last night summed up the Packers in play offs since I've watched NFL. Cautious play calling, a less effective Rodgers and some terrible special teams. They didn't have to do much to win, but constantly shot themselves in the foot. SF didn't win the game, they had it handed to them.

By the mid-3rd quarter the GB WRs couldn't run precise routes, which might have thrown Rodgers timing off. They don't have a guy like Kittle, Dillion got hurt, Jones is more of a speed/slashing RB.

Its almost like

THEY
COULDNT
PLAY
IN
COLD
WEATHER
