Yeah thats a fair summary. The call was fine but the execution was poor. Jackson is making too many mistakes to be a superbowl contender right now.

That's why I would have just kicked it and gone to overtime. You'd back Tucker to kick a game winner from anywhere inside 60.
The Ravens passing offense is a full blown disaster. Lamar isn't playing particularly well but they've had problems that date back to the middle of last season that haven't been fixed. It's a classic theme in Greg Roman's career.

Humphrey got hurt on the last Steelers drive so they went for two as they were running out of healthy defensive backs. That play has worked this year but you have to understand your opponent. An unblocked end is different when it is someone like Watt who plays with no discipline and flies up the field.

What Chiefs turn up tonight @Kev The Rat ?

Hill must be due one of his huge games ?!
Watching tonight the Chiefs are just the epitome of a well coached team - able to do whatever it takes to grind out wins.

The offense continues to go backwards at an alarming rate, but at the same time I can’t see them losing another game all season even if the offense doesn’t improve substantially.

It’s very strange….

You can't see them losing again? Like actually?

I genuinely expect them to be a major threat at the 1 seed and possibly in the Super Bowl but at the same time they can lose every week if they're barely scraping to 20 points. It's very easy to see them losing.

Have you seen their schedule? It’s very straightforward.

Raiders, Chargers, Steelers, Bengals and Broncos.

And if you think they could be the 1 seed then they probably won’t lose again in that case so your partially agreeing.

No I don’t think they’ll lose again.

Reid has form for going on long winning streaks.

The schedule where none of the teams have a losing record?

They are all average teams and playing at the Chiefs level that’s not good enough

If they were playing New England or Buffalo or an NFC powerhouse like Tampa then maybe but those teams are all on Denver’s level really who look very poor tonight

Again though they've played close games with bad teams (I'm counting the non-Rodgers Packers) and they aren't scoring lots of points so games can stay close when they shouldn't.

Trust me I follow a team specializing in keeping every game close. You can lose at any moment from dumb stuff. This game right now isn't more than a few plays swinging the Broncos way from being tight.

Sorry which close games have they played with bad teams? the only one I can see is the giants?

Dallas ? Do Denver count as a bad team now?

The reality is though that the chiefs are going to be very heavy favourites for each game they play from here on in.

I would expect them to be 9 or 10 point favourites vs the raiders next week for example.

they’ll know they need to win every game for the 1 seed.

I’m not saying it’s guaranteed they’ll win every game - I think they’ve got a very good chance though. Maybe 60%-70%

60% chance of winning five games in a row in the NFL is pretty ludicrous. It's funny because it could happen too, but it is a wild level of confidence.

I mean Teddy throws that pick six into the ground and they're driving to tie it right now. The margins are smaller for this version of the Chiefs.

Just looked it up because I bought into the hype before the season and have 100 on them to win the division.

Granted I don't pay to every teams schedule, but I don't recall ever seeing anything like this before. 2 teams every other week with the other divisional opponent to close it out Screenshot_20211205-233130_Chrome.webp

They backloaded the division games this year, imo to a ridiculous extent. That's probably the silliest of the bunch but a lot of teams aren't far away.

You seem to think that its all swings and roundabouts - actually its probably why you think Everton's form 'will change' because 'form isnt real' as you weirdly put it elsewhere.

Form is real, and you need to understand that badly coached teams consistently lose (Everton) and well coached teams consistently win (KC) - things dont just reverse course one way or the other out of the blue for no reason. Its not the probability/coin flip game you seem to think it is.

As far as margins go, I would say Baltimore dont have a proper offense, and that Harbaugh as a coach is on a level or maybe even 2 levels below Reid so that he can overcome those offensive problems.

As far as the Chiefs last 5 games go, the only one which Vegas will have marked up as even vaguely competitive is the Chargers game - just check the lines each week and see, they wil be nearly double digit favourites for the rest - that should show you why I'm confident.

Everton = Chicago bears on and off the field .
