I love the "he couldn't do that on a cold night in Stoke" references too. I mean, I know a lot are said in jest, but it's like saying "well, I wonder how he'd do if some no talent hack was assaulting him all game." Like that's football.

It's not good football but it is part of football (sadly).

I still think he missed the net on that gif.

He does seem content to stay in a less pressure situation for now. Maybe he has a bit of LD to him and he'll stay in Brazil until his late twenties when he'll come to us.

Still wouldn't do it in England, though.
 
Another over hyped Brazilian. A very gifted young player... but I don't think he'll be a great one. Lacks the stones to do it in Europe for me.

But what's his salary mate? Just kidding. I'm pretty much of the same opinion based on what I've seen of him, I think he'd probably do alright in Spain but not in England or Italy, to lightweight.

Touché :). but in all seriousness he's on about €15m a year in Brazil! so even if somebody could cough up the fee for him (His clause is about €72 million) they're also gonna have to pay him a massive wedge like.

I imagine as long as they keep paying him silly money and he's playing well in Brazil then it kind of suits him to stay put, he strikes me as not being to arsed about a move abroad, can't see him doing anything of note in any major international tournament

If you look at the current trend in 'Big name' Brazilians. He'd probably move to Barca for 2 years. Moan that everybody only talks about Messi. Then move back to Brazil (While Barca still pay a large chunk of his wages) and get fat.

Sounds like a pretty solid career plan, if they paid me millions for the getting fat bit I'd be loaded already.
 
You say all the Brazil defenders are rubbish, and yeah i agree in general they are, but they are vicious swines, and so far he's escaped being snapped in half.

He's awesome, and you will all see eventually.
