Everton represent the last chance for any significant overseas manager who wishes to manage in the PL.

Even though in financial terms we are very mid-table, and before any funds are made available from Moshiri or player sales, the new manager will in the next 3 years have something like £500 million in revenues to support his project.

That's a very exciting prospect, but then combined with Moshiri's development plans for the club, we really are an attractive proposition.

Any manager not taking the opportunity seriously (outside of the already committed "super-managers" elsewhere) is perhaps a reflection of their ambitions rather than a reflection of ours.

If Emery wants to prove himself in the world's most competitive league then the very best opportunity is available to him.
Esk mate is the shout on simeone credible or not ? Would like your opinion on it if I can please

You do realise this is a thread to do down Everton, our stature and our deluded fans don't you?

mid table? even with Moshiri's backing?

Is the 500 million the expected figure we are going to bring in? Is it the figure that may be able to be spent on players?

No, that's an estimate of our revenues before expenses over the next 3 years. The point is that our budgets as with all PL clubs dwarf almost every other club in Europe outside the obvious super clubs.

Are they pushing him for a response now mate?

Not heard a thing, but haven't asked anyone either. I'm assuming we are working on getting him over the line - don't know precise timing

Will we have approached him? Yes. Will he be interested? I hope so but have no idea mate.

500 mil? No mate. Do you think Moshiri is going to spend half his fortune on new players for Everton, in a single summer no less. He doesn´t even own half the company.

Thanks mate. I saw we are currently 16th (I think you shared the list) on net value in Europe. Thats before Moshiri has even really gained control of the club. We are 3 times as wealthy as Sevilla.
