Are they worse than us though? Seriously never really watched them but I know he's lost some talent over the years. Can't be arsed with another bobby boring fiasco, just hope he's a bit more dynamic.

With Mourinho set to join Utd. It seems we now have 3 choice of managers we can go for. Proven managers in Europe and the Premiership Pelligrini,LVG or Hiddink if they still want to manage. Proven premiership managers at smaller clubs Hughes,Howe or Koeman. Foreign managers with no Premiership exp DeBoer,Favre,Emery or ETC. And not forgetting Back to the Future Moyes.....

My personal choice is to go for DeBoer. Koeman the next in the poll has had too many short spells at clubs. But whoever gets the job needs 100% support from all Evertonians.

If a manager is appointed in late May \ early June that is not popular amongst 90 odd% of the fanbase, it allows the club a couple of months for the bedwetters to do their dirty laundry in private before the season starts

You mention Koeman's teams playing boring football (Which they most certainly do not) yet you want de Boer?! Whom Ajax fans were glad to see the back of for that exact reason?

I said Koeman is boring not his football! Koeman is a "safe" premiership style manager who everyone knows what he does etc and the media will use it to talk us down! look the Southampton Manager is risking going to Everton :-(

I don't care if the football is boring as long as we win something we can play Wimbledon garryowens into the box for all i care as we're nobodies in the Premiership now in medias eyes :-(

Love how Man Utd win the FA Cup, sack their manager and appear to have appointed Jose within a few hours. Yet we allowed Martinez's untenable position to drag on for months and months, and since he was finally dismissed, we haven't heard a dicky bird from the club. Everton drag EVERYTHING out.

Well he has spent loads of money. Got into the champions league and won an FA cup. I think he has been successful but not being a failure.

I can't see Koeman turning us down if we want him, and plenty of reports from the media and ITK's say he's high on the list.

He's stated he wants a club with ambition, building new stadiums and giving 100m+ to the manager will certainly tick his boxes.

He'd be stupid to turn us down and he doesn't grab me as being that.

I'm not saying we won't get him mate.

I said we had a chance mate, not a very good chance. We still do although the weight of reporting about him going to United suggests that chance has diminished.

As I said on 9th May, Koeman is the most likely to be our next manager, nothing has changed to make me offer an alternative view.

I can't fathom why anyone would want us to appoint FDB. We've just had a disastrous season, about to have a player clear out and are apparently going to have a huge transfer kitty for the Summer, yet some want a manager who has no Premier League experience, and has only achieved things in the Vanarama Dutch League.

Hasn't Cocu at PSV done an arguably better job that De Boer. Won the title twice in a row, 4 points out of 6 against Man United and almost knocked out Atletico Madrid. He also managed to sell us Depay for £27m somehow
