LOL no worries
If Unsworth can prove himself here or elsewhere, I would not think twice about it.
Problem is that current sentiment is about a statement hire, so Unsworth doesn't make that cut yet

Yeah, that is exactly my point - and thanks for nailing the sentiment point too. This is exactly what I have so much difficulty with...
"Hey everyone - we've got some cash - let's spank it". It's such a chav, brainless, all-eggs-in-one-basket mentality that plays Moshiri's cash straight into the hands of agents. Not too mention look where such one-dimensional thinking got us lumping the ball straight to Lukaku for the last 2 seasons.

A marquee signing...??? The time to go for Emery was before he made Seville great, Koeman OK, But why are we chasing for 'proven' success again, like El Fraud?

It beggars my belief that above all, it's our Everton fans (whom I do consider to be of the best ) that, just when we get some financial backing that could transform our training ground and stadium (and make us the envy of every promising manager out there), we instead have some manager-p*rn and go screaming in the street for the next mercenary import looking for some Prem $$

WE KNOW THE ANSWERS, WE KNOW THE PEOPLE, LET'S BE EVERTON, LET'S BE DIFFERENT AND BUILD ON WHAT WE HAVE ALREADY.

It's proven at Bournemouth, Burnley, Leicester. Koeman at Southampton is maybe interesting ... For me let's get Unsworth and Big Dunc lined up there.

OK sermon over. I'll shout for us whoever (obviously) : )

So, to counter this rash, knee-jerk reaction to suddenly having money - if that's what you'd call it - we should ignore the fact that we now have money to compete and appoint someone very much unproven from within the club, cos.... we're everton?

And you'd count Bournemouth, Burnley as evidence to back you up? And you think Martinez was a 'proven' success?...

...
...
...
...

...and it's this kind of thinking (wanting a proven manager to bring success) that led to the team playing hoofball to Rom - even though they didn't? Ya what lad

Make Jose an offer he can't refuse
