With Deeney out the way we can cope with them at the back.

If we get an early goal I think the confidence levels of these youngsters especially will surge. The crowd will get them over the line.

RB will be crucial these next two months. I think we can have a very lively front four with him in there. He knows how that works. He;s been part and parcel of a mobile front four before. Without Lukaku or his direct replacement it'll obviously be a challenge, but RB at the tip of a diamond and linking up with Vlasic/DCL/Lookman ahead of him could be the punch we need.

For the confidence levels to surge we will need at least a 2, possibly 3, goal lead, because if they score to equalise our early goal, our heads will drop.

Pickford

Coleman Keane Holgate Baines (literally because we have no other LB)

...............Gueye
Davies...................Rooney
------------Barkley

Vlasic...................Lookman
................DCL

Bolasie instead of one Lookman for me but agree with this.
Still think Klaassen and Sandro should be given some kid glove treatment.

Maybe.

Let's not lose sight of the fact this is Watford and not Juventus. As good a start as they've had.

People need to get a grip calling for Big Bent Sam and comparing this to the 90's and Mike Walker.

Royle came in then in November and we were bottom of the league 5 months after just staying up against Wimbledon. This is nothing like this. We finished 7th last season and have some bad injuries.

Don't get me wrong this is bloody terrible and we have a ridiculously lob sided squad, but any decent manager would steady the ship by simply picking a system, sticking to it and playing our best players till Jan and then we can reenforce.

Big Undies blew his chance by playing favourites and trying to make a point about some of the signings. Schneiderlin, Sigurdsson and the like needed a fresh start and game time. Not being dropped for kids. We know that these are proven premier league players.

We’ve got a lot of season left and players to come back from injury. Buy a centre half and striker in Jan and we’ll be fine.

We’ve got a few weeks after Watford. Interview some people and take it from there. Koeman was the 8th highest paid manager in world football. We are a big draw. We are not West Ham.

Maths mate lol

Agree with you though, even have a good few subs in Sandro/Bolasie being included instead of either Lookman or Vlasic, as well as Sandro playing upfront, or Niasse there, it's some options at least.

Also still can't believe I'm seeing anyone put Rooney on the "wing" in a diamond. He should be swapped with Barkley in this current setup (not sure but I think I said that somewhere already? Sick here so my mind is in bits lol sorry if repeating).
