Weren't Martinez & Koeman favourites most of the time prior to their appointments? Certainly Koeman was.
RM was about 3rd favourite- Koeman was mentioned but it was the thought the compensation deal may have been a problem so no they were not instant front runners!
The Wigan Chairman did his best to keep RM and again we paid compensation!
