Burnley is the interesting one, the manager deemed not good enough because he's another big Sam v big Sam. That match should really identity how close a copy Dyche is to Sam .

If we can't pick up the 7-9 points we will need from these 12 games, we deserve to go down. I see us finishing on 44 points.

I do believe we need to play a consistent team with the same players in the remaining games. No more 2 games in a week. Coleman must play no matter what.

He doesn't have one

He's mentioning games we've picked up points in to prove a point that we won't pick up points

All over the place this lad
They are the only reason we arnt in the bottom 3. Watford some how thee a 2 goal lead away then missed a pen in the last minute. Bournemouth was 2 goals in the last 5 mins was it? An they missed a sitter a 1-0

So you're telling me we aren't in the bottom 3 because we won more games?

mind blown here

Palace H

Watford A

Burnley A

Brighton H

Stoke A

Lots of winnable games in there, We have a decent record against the teams below us and seem to do well against them at home

Will we pick up the 9 points we need to get to 40 in these 5 games or are we going to make a hash of it and drag this shambles on into the final part of the season

7pts... 4 draws 1 win, but more like 2 wins 1 draw...all at home

Hate to p1ss on everyone's chips but 40 points might not be enough.
Plus our goal difference is wort another -1 point if it comes to it.

Ffs what happened to this forum.

My point is this, people are saying there are worse teams then us in this league and where not utter tripe and my point is, we are utter tripe and if it wasn’t for Niassie( who we almost sold on TDD) we would be bottom 3
Swansea beat Arsenal 3-1 in the week. Arsenal strolled to a 5-1 win over us.

I'll just be relieved when where mathematically safe so we can boot BFS and Walsh out the club, the sooner we can do that the better, players need to step up because fat Sam would be happy to drag this right to the wire

If it wasn’t for them 7 points we would be bottom 3. We spent 200 mil and if it wasn’t for Niassie we be in the bottom 3. I still think we might go down. Palace is a massive game. Lose that and we are in massive trouble

But but, If Vardy and Gray hadn't have scored against us at Leicester away and we've have won that, and if Hendrick hadn't have scored against us at Goodison for Burnley and we'd have scored one of our chances, we'd be 7th.

I agree we've been fortunate in games but I genuinely don't see your point? We aren't bottom 3, we are in fact 10th. Do you want us to hand some points back to the premier league cause opposition teams missed chances?

I'd be interested to know how you've reached this conclusion. It will almost certainly be comfortably lower than 40 points needed to stay up this season. Look at the League Table, and look at how many games are left and the form of the sides near the bottom.

I reckon about 5 teams will fail to achieve 40 this year.

As for the original point of the topic, I reckon we will get 5-7 points from our next 5, which will all but confirm our Premier League status for next season with 7 games remaining.
