Great interview. Great fella.
Every time you hear a player from that era talk about everything the comaraderie comes through. I doubt if any club, at any time since then, has had anything to match it.
I've got to stop watching these and similar interviews. I defy any Blue alive at that time to watch any of them without their eyes filling up. Incredibly emotional. But also, in the light of where we are now and have been for the last 25 years, they make me feel so sad (and to a degree, so angry also).

....I thought it was close to deadline and we (apparently) insisted he submit a transfer request to secure his move to United. That meant he wasn’t entitled to 10% of the fee.
