The football in the end was horrific. Some insane decisions. Really good first season though. Can’t help feel he got a bit lucky in inheriting a decent defence.
Just to clarify the file names… as woeful seems extreme… disapointing maybe?1000% this - he's a terrible manager, he in heck he's ended up managing at international level, is literally beyond me. The pre season games, Leicester sticks in my head, when we were trying to play tippy tappy from the back, it was like the players thought they were playing with a rugby ball, the passing was that bad. Baffles me some folk think this dud is any good.
He was, as you say totally lucky in that he inherited a defence, in their prime who were well schooled in that first season. Was found out very quickly after that.
File under woeful - for Everton.
To be fair to him, he has what look like decent stats. But i never felt secure with him as Everton Manager.
Not practicing set peices was naive. We wanted play like Barcelona but with a team in capable of it.1000% this - he's a terrible manager, he in heck he's ended up managing at international level, is literally beyond me. Managing at international level is a second rate job, he hasn't ended up there because he's done incredibly well, it's the opposite.1000% this - he's a terrible manager, he in heck he's ended up managing at international level, is literally beyond me. Noticed that Chermiti wasn't in the Celtic squad that lost the league cup final to the Buddies (St. Mirren ) Injured or just left out ?

Haha yes you got me there . Too much whisky last night….maybe something to do with the fact that he plays for Rangers![]()

There at Brentford yesterday brilliant cross by Gnonto. I think we were worried when he signed . He is a far better player with the 352 system. If we stay up and he gets us 15 goals for the season it will be a good decision. Heard he is on £100k a week. We can't sign anymore players due to PSR.The header he got today, was a centre forwards goal, if Barry had the same chance it would have gone for a throw in
If he gets you 15 goals, it’s a tremendous job. It’s good to see him enjoying his football again. There at Brentford yesterday brilliant cross by Gnonto. I think we were worried when he signed . International management is so much different, he inherits players who are well coached so all he has to do is slight tweaks as International managers don't have the time on the training ground to train their methods fully. Plus the one thing Martinez had was an ability to make players feel great about their ability so at the higher levels that's one of the biggest things a manager needs (Real Madrid were better under Carlo because he was an expert at this whilst Alonso is failing because he wants to coach the players too much even though Alonso is better than Carlo at the actual art of coaching)1000% this - he's a terrible manager, he in heck he's ended up managing at international level, is literally beyond me. Life style choice if you ask me.Managing at international level is a second rate job, he hasn't ended up there because he's done incredibly well, it's the opposite.
