Not a good comparison for Simms, he was wonderfully woeful in his first year , couldn’t hit a barn door, but was big and strong. Our coaches did great work and in his second year he not only bullied defences but scored 40 odd goals. I’m convinced his body developed “ muscle memory” that season, put him through on goal and he’d automatically score. His first goal the other night was just automatic reflex ball is there, clip it in , done it before. He was hopeless at scoring with his head at u18s , it’s taken a while but he’s now getting into the right positions and two headed goals in his last two games. I still love this kid!
