He took Dan Purdy there when TFG were happy for him to stay on, will be interesting to see whether he stays especially if he was identifying the players.

The Chermiti deal to Rangers is still weird. Something bit fishy going on there

I saw criticism from some fans, others defended him. The local media from what I read and heard barely put him under any scrutiny at all especially the Echo who seemed keen to portray him as some kind of lost entity fighting against the odds.

He didn’t get that at Rangers from day one which I think is telling.

The most we got was a pre planned borderline questionnaire with Giula Bould. I don’t believe he had it tough here from a fan or media perspective. In national media it took once again, garden spade head Carragher to call him out on anything. Barely anything from ex Everton players in the media.

It must of hit him hard when Rangers fans and the Scottish press were questioning him from the beginning

It should be like that here in terms of the press but given what the club is they won’t upset the apple cart.

I saw criticism from some fans, others defended him. The local media from what I read and heard barely put him under any scrutiny at all especially the Echo who seemed keen to portray him as some kind of lost entity fighting against the odds.

He didn’t get that at Rangers from day one which I think is telling.

…..there was only a couple of us on here who highlighted him, much to the rancour of most. Our new owners knew & it didn’t take the Rangers fans and their new owners long to suss him out;

…..there was only a couple of us on here who knew, much to the rancour of most. Our new owners knew & it didn’t take the Rangers fans and their new owners long to suss him out;

He’s not solely to blame for issues here but it was clear he was a problem. It felt like more of a fluke he got a signing right to be honest.

He even had the nerve to say when asked about the left back position that Dwight McNeil can play there.

Why people persist with defending glaring issues is beyond me. If it’s not executives or directors it’s mediocre players.

Fair enough if that’s how some get their kicks or they have some personal benefit to not being honest, that’s their choice. It was striking the difference in how their supporters and even media would react compared to ours though and he was here over two years.
