Me too. I’ve nothing against the lad, quite the opposite in fact.

His goal against Palace was my second favourite moment at Goodison after the Bayern semi. And I liked him making heads explode by wearing what he wanted to wear.

He had a job, watched a gang of mercenary’s come in and get paid far more than him for contributing considerably less, got boo’d by 40k people including when he went off with a broken cheek.
Dunno how much of that you would put up with at work, but I’d probobly do one as well.

Did far more for the club than he gets credit for.

Both Lewis Dobbin and Thierry Small playing for Preston tonight. As mentioned earlier, a cracking goal from Dobbin and he looked lively when he was on. Small came on as a sub in a left wing type of role, still the same, decent left foot , a bit of pace not much else but still only 21. Still seems to have the same attitude ( agent?) though , wouldn’t sign a new contract at Charlton and effectively moved sideways but presumably with a good signing on fee.
