My colleagues at work are predominantly Newcastle fans - they have said this is a must win in the relegation battle (desperately trying to keep us in there) and they also believe they’ll win

I then have the in-laws who a few months ago were placing bets on our relegation and Newcastle to finish top 6...

Any fear I had of relegation has long dissipated. We simply won´t concede enough goals with Allardyce to be able to go down, and with Sigurdsson and Rooney in the squad and another striker coming in in January we´ll certainly score enough goals to win a fair few games.
