He couldn't trap a ball last season but was still excellent.

His control has actually improved this year. Don't deny it, he's not scoring so you think he's gash. It's okay NIK, everyone knows that you can't think too hard about things.

By the same logic, if we lose 3 on the spin he will rightly be hailed as a moron.

I like to think the mark of a genius and a sincerely stupid person does not rest in individual decisions, but in consistency. He has been consistently poor this season and one good decision wouldn't make him a genius. Equally I do not think he is a moron, as he has been consistently brilliant in the past. Time will tell.
