I am older that than you (unfortunately) but that's by the by. But tell me, we lose the next 2 PL games, which is what the average gambler would probably place a wager on.......is that then 'free fall'? If not, how many consecutive league defeats would it take? Let me remind you, losing these two would mean just a win and a draw (4 pts) out of our last 9 matches (27 pts). Let that sink in a minute......

If you're older than me you must be pretty old.....and if so I tip my cap.
Free fall for me is when I don't see any quality in the squad or the manager. For what it's worth I do see quality in the squad ( apart from a few who are not comfortable with a ball at their feet, or are too old), and I've watched football long enough to know fortunes and form change. I don't see the point in sacking a manager who only a few months ago we were fully supportive of. Changing a manager can on occasion work, but on more occasions it doesn't.
Our form is rubbish...no arguments there, but I beleive it will change. I, like everyone else on here, am no expert and football isn't a science so I can't give you a categoric answer as to why it will change.....I just believe it will.

Was meant more in response to the treatment from our fans last year... We were so sure we'd upgraded managers. Now I'm not so sure.

Fair enough.

Were all frustrated in how he uses the players, the team selection, the tactics and his post game comments. I'm not going to mince words, this performance was absolutely disgraceful, maybe the worst of the year. What bothers me the most is it seems like most of the players don't care. That there playing with no passion whatsoever. If your going to lose, then give it all your best. I know that sounds idealistic, but it's what I believe in.

This team is just going the motions and it's either up to the senior players to start holding others accountable or the manager and judging by Martinez's comments, everything is just smooth sailing.

I thought kone gave a centre forwards masterclass.....and no I'm not taking the you know what,basic individual errors are being punished unfortunately at the moment,you can say we're blaming officials ok,but these are big/game changeing decisions stoke and cisse today,he walks at 1-0 and even we would struggle to not win it,you could lay your house on him then getting the equalizer,keep the faith lads we've got some very good players hopefully our season will turn and our luck at hull on the first day of 2015,COYB.

Pretty sure he persisted with Titus Bramble at Wigan when everyone else was laughing about how poor he was. Distin is currently worse than he ever was though.

That's my biggest worry. Barry is undroppable and first name on the teamsheet.

How he didn't make Baines who has been a far longer servant of the club or even Coleman captain I don't know especially given it was for one game.

It just reeks that Roberto hasn't grasped that its not last year. We aren't the same and Barry certainly isn't and trying to get back to that will just push is further behind. We need to start fresh with a new look Midfield and go from there.

funny how everyone is picking out Distin for this performance . Did anyone notice his left back partner failed to stop 1 cross coming into our box for 90 mins or the defensive midfield in front of him spent the whole game on his arse. It's a bit tough asking someone to put in 9/10 performances when his cover are putting in 2/10

The first goal came from a cross from the right though. For which he was so badly positioned and so immobile in his old age that he fell over trying to adjust his position. That said, there should have one of our 2 LBs positioned behind him.
