If it were to happen though, in honesty it's worse news for clubs like United and Liverpool, as City/Chelsea and Newcastle will start winning everything (if the takeover is everything some of them say it is).

I think what you would fine, even if this takeover went ahead in the world Newcastle think it would, it would be a lot harder for Newcastle to do what City/Chelsea did in the time frame they did it, but you would see a similar outcome over a longer period.

You can probably see now, that Chelsea and City look set to dominate for the next 10 years, and probably have dominated over the last 5-10 really. That's the direction of travel. I still think we will make our way forward if the money tap stays switched on, but it will take longer.

Like next season, do you really expect any of United/Arsenal/Spurs/Liverpool to compete for the league? Probably the first time that's not been the case.

If City and Chelsea get the players they look set to get, they will keep moving away.

Not really. What superstars want to live in Newcastle? They would do well but be about Spurs level. City would just press down on the cash dispenser.

We have missed the boat big time - the recent collapses of Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal and the arab royals sense opportunity to gatecrash the top 4/ CL Cash cow.
