A gang of mates, putting together a magazine, that just ripped everyone and everything, whilst having a laugh and making a shed load of money.

I used to love the Summer Specials, as the art work was much better and it was all in colour, which meant they could really go to town on their chosen subjects.

I cant remember us ever having a resident Geordie poster.

Sort of. Ex pat Scouser but been up here since I was 5 years old. Verbally indistinguishable from the real thing. Generally happy to identify as a Geordie bar the miserable excuse of a football club which has given me endless amusement (and one half time arrest) over the last 52 years

I actually bought Viz #1 off Chris Donald in the Bridge Hotel. Just a few pages of photocopied hand drawn stuff. Unfortunately chucked it after reading it. Probably worth a few quid now.

My favourite from the very early days was Stayflat Harris of the SAS. Only lasted 4 or 5 editions.

Living there is one thing, but being a Newcastle supporter is totally different! Like you, I moved away from Liverpool about aged 5. And I deffo sound more Bristolian than scouse.
