There's a story from that part of the world from the 19th century. When the Crimean war was declared, there was some dispute as to whether Berwick upon Tweed was in England or Scotland. So the decleration was in the name of "The United Kingdom of England, Scotland, Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed" or however it was worded. Nobody thought about Berwick when the truce was drafted so the small seaside town was technically at war with the Russians until the 1950s.

It's hard to actually buy a football club if you're struggling to find the finance to buy the stake. It's even harder to adaquately fund a football club that you that you can barely raise £300m to buy. Relegation under Steve Bruce beckons.
