No, and I agree with you there.

It'd have been Bernard or Gordon down the left for me.

But they aren't forwards - either of them - and we're trying to play a 4-3-3 this year yet we only actually have three players who seem capable of playing in the front three roles to any degree of competency.

It was a clear area of weakness even with Kean and Walcott. So letting both of them go is fine, but there needed to be a player brought in.

That was hilarious. He receives the ball, passes it sideways then walk forward and points backwards all the time following Ryan Fraser! Fraser wasn't even looking to see where he was to mark him because Sigurdsson was following him!

If Gomes wasn't a dope we pickup a very decent (context and players missing considered) point here.

Its not worthy of the fume IMO.

What do fans expect? We're missing half our firs team, 4 of the back 5 are 2nd choice, 2 of the front 3 out, every team in the league would lose this, especially when getting screwed over.
