Newcastle make move to take Sandro on loan

i think it s good move. he's struggled to settle here and get game time. This will give him premier league minutes (better than championship or Spanish minutes!) and with a team managed by a Spaniard, which will hopefully overcome any language issues and help him settle faster. End result, he comes back to us a better more settled player and we reap the rewards, and we haven't had to pay for the coaching improvements!

His record in Spain is good, so he isn't a bad player. Some fans are just too quick to write off players who don't score hat-tricks on the debut!

I had been led to believe that he wanted to return to Spain. Technically Newcastle is even further away from his homeland.. albeit marginally.

If it turns out that it is a lack of football rather than homesickness that has caused his upset then a loan move would be an excellent solution.
It will hopefully give him an opportunity to play games and impress. It may increase his value or he may come back to us a better or more settled and confident player.
We will even benefit financially.

Tbf, I don't think we can accuse Sam of buying 'Big Sam' players so far.
We don't know enough about Tosun, but Walcott could play under any manager. As could N'Zonzi if he's brought in and, for example, someone like Bryan (well, just anybody with a left foot).

So I don't mind Sam being given the money tbf. I think he can spot a player. He just doesn't know how to get the best out of them.
Our GOT’s Bryan?
He’s kept that under his hat! I had no idea he was left footed!

I consider the worst two teams in the PL are Swansea and Everton, but Newcastle are not much better . Can we risk lending him to a fellow relegation contender?

Premier League status.....

I'd rather us loan Sandro to a Championship club, and go 50/50 on his wages with said club. That way he'll gain experience of the British game while we don't entertain the idea of the unthinkable scenario if we loan him to a fellow relegation-threatened rival.
We're not going to play him, our premier league status won't rely on him, I get Newcastle are close to us but I think we'd both benefit from it! Letting him go to a championship team wouldn't benefit us, their game is completely different to ours

Imagine tossing yourself off over a player that spends 10 of 15 minutes of being on a pitch pulling his socks up.
