The two OPs I quoted believe that people being critical of the selection of McNeil want us to lose today. I pointed out that most of the posters critical of McNeil's selection think that selecting McNeil makes us less likely to win today, an opinion I also hold. If, then, that is the case then those self same posters that apparently want us to lose, a sentiment that I stated was nonsense, would be happy that McNeil was selected. They are not, however, suggesting that they do want Everton to win. Which is what I assume every Evertonian wants.

TL: DR - I'm sick of people who disagree with other posters accusing them of wanting Everton to lose or not being real Evertonians.
