I’d forgotten about those comments. Maybe McNeil requested to play today because he wanted to share the pitch with such revered opponents.
Moyes is right, Dibling, Aznou or Rohl would not cope in such esteemed company as (checks notes) Nick Pope and Kieran Trippier.
