New to Everton, what should I know?

I have seriously considered writing to the Mosh and saying that for 1 million notes I'd support a different team. This would be the single best investment he could make towards our title hopes.

Always sounds very strange to me, if new Evertonians come on here and claim they just decided from one day to another that they'll support Everton. Surely, it isn't as simpe as just going through a list of PL clubs and take your pick out of them?

There has to be a reason you are attracted to them imo. There has to be some kind of emotion towards that club you start supporting, or am I missing something ? That attraction can come from a variety of reasons, but just picking a random club to support sounds very strange to me.

Again, not trying to have a go, as I welcome all new Evertonians, just sincerely interested how 'picking a club to support' actually works

3. Club traditions (e.g. supporters' songs, chants, etc.)

To answer the OP's actual questions in a level-headed and meaningful way instead of taking the p***:

You could not have chose a more miserable time to start supporting a more miserable team with more miserable fans - so unless you are the kind of dipshit that gets off on being kicked in the balls until they are like overripe watermelons, you have not the mentality to follow this great club and you would be far better off supporting some up and coming team, run by people who could actually organise losing their virginity in Madame Horny's Pleasure Dome...
