New third kit

For those who haven't seen it, here's the new goalkeeper third kit:

3 new kits every season is taking the piss.

However, it gives the mrs an easy option on the chrimbo pressie - last year it was the vanilla shirt, i think this year itll be the home shirt.

(Cos obviously a 33 year old man paying all that money for a t-shirt would be ridiculous)

Really, this is a serious question, why do we need a third kit?

Back in the day it always used to be one kit with a change kit for away game colour clashes, this seems to have become a home and away strip, the reason for a third kit eludes me. Unless it is to just fleece more money from the club support.

have they said there are going to be 3 kits every year? obviously all the kits have to be new this year, but i'm struggling to think of a team that would play in black and blue that would require us to wear a 3rd kit - maybe lower league or non-league in case of a cup clash...

Ummmm.....because we need money? For players and stuff?

And yes, they're trying to make more money out of us, the fans, and that's because WE'RE THE BLOODY CUSTOMERS AND WHERE THE HELL ELSE ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO MAKE MONEY FROM?

*takes deep breath*

Soz an all folks, don't mean to be shouty and rude, but the summary of these comments, together with the general thrust of frustrated Ebeptonians complaints (mine included) runs thus:

- Bill and the board are incompetent and are letting the fans down because they can't provide the funds to sign players

- Bill and the board are incompetent and are betraying the fans because they are bringing out products designed to make more money from their fanbase

Surely people can see that this makes no sense?

Great post.

There's a lot of valid reasons to knock the board but sometimes people do it over stupid stuff.

If you don't like the 3rd kit don't buy it.
