I dont JD, and if applied to the corporate side of things, boxes, concerts, that sort of thing, you are on the button. But over here, in general, most footie fans would watch their team in any conditions, in any weather, at any time of day or night. And do not give a stuff about the burgers, hot dogs or ale. Improving these will not bring a single new fan into GP.

It does over here, especially families, which is why I suggested it. As to how many more or if at all...well If I was chairman I'd do some market research to find that out (they may already have done for Kirkby). If I knew I could get an extra 5k to the match with a new stadium, reduced ticket prices, I'd ramp up corporate boxes and sell a lot more concessions, merch, etc.

The first year you would get a new stadium bounce without a doubt I think.

Travel is the least mate. Still got family in Hoylake. Have a disabled son, & divorced, so chances of getting up are few and far between. Last time? WHU, 6.0 to us.

The 2 teams of Merseyside are/have been lagging behind the other big city clubs and if it helps close the gap then it has to be considered.

It's some shift, like. Merseyside teams won 8 out of 9 leagues and then since then none in 22.

And only half of that is funny.

We don't fill the current stadium, why bother extending it?

The reason it doesn't sell out every week is due to the 4000 obstructed view seats that are only £1 less than a normal seat.

The need for a new stadium is as much out of necessity as it is anything else, the old Lady is a great old stadium but the facilities are an embarrassment when compared to some of our peers

naming rights are essential in gaining outside investment in a new stadium. I would love to stay at Goodison but is it possible to expand it/add more boxes etc. to the standard needed?

if liverpool can redevelop Anfield why can't we re-develop goodison? That's semi rhetorical question btw; somone mentioned in another thread one of the stands couldn't be developed? IMO would have to be a complete demolition then rebuild from scratch.

I don't see the point in ground sharing. Liverpool has enough football fans to justify two clubs and two sets of stadia in my opinion

It's a major city. Other cities have more than one club (Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield) and they do just fine. Not sure how Liverpool is any different

I would think you could demo each stand and re-build them one at a time over 4 years in the summer between games. But then you'd end up with a "new" stadium on the same site. Is that the same as "staying" at Goodison?

There's houses and the church to think about in a situation like that. I'm not sure what you could do to actually raise the attendance. I'm sure a good architect could think of something
