New Stadium question

It's home, it's where we should stay in my opinion.

I'm in 99% agreement...the 1% is reserved for that one outrageous miracle that would make me seriously think about something else; would always have to be in the city though. We were the first in, I'll be damned if we're the first out...why some take that as a draconian view baffles me.

Wish I could thumb that sentiment mate. Spot on.

Exactly.

I also think it's a myth that new ground = billionaire takeover.

A new ground equals more expensive tickets, a ground full of tourists rather than local fans who have been priced out, more corporate boxes with more prawn sandwich eaters - just ask Arsenal

Agree entirely.

I like that it's less than 35 quid to watch a game and besides villa, newcastle, chelsea, leeds, saints, liverpool etc all got taken over with old grounds.

Ideal sitution goodison gets redevolped by buying the house and school around goodison to around and 45-50k stadium . Second best would be stanley park

You'd know better than me mate. Fair enough.
ost

I dont JD, and if applied to the corporate side of things, boxes, concerts, that sort of thing, you are on the button. But over here, in general, most footie fans would watch their team in any conditions, in any weather, at any time of day or night. And do not give a stuff about the burgers, hot dogs or ale. Improving these will not bring a single new fan into GP.

Pretty fed up with not winning anything (1995 long time ago!) so if it gives us a better chance of silverware I would be willing to share with the other lot. I wouldn't really be that happy about doing it but I would be willing to!
The 2 teams of Merseyside are/have been lagging behind the other big city clubs and if it helps close the gap then it has to be considered.

Sure.

But I don't think it will.

Long way from bristol, mate. Not cheap, neither.

How often do you get up?

Any chance of making the fuiham or west ham games?

Travel is the least mate. Still got family in Hoylake. Have a disabled son, & divorced, so chances of getting up are few and far between. Last time? WHU, 6.0 to us.
