This is Danny and Dylan's choice surely. If you want simple membership numbers and no one contributing then make it a totally open site, you'll soon find every tosser under the sun posting here and the mods would certainly have their work cut out. If you want a good constructive forum then those registering should have no fears in doing so, everyone on here at present didn't so it should not be a problem!

I agree, I registered to the forums because I read a few posts in the blue room first realised that the people here are true Evertonians and not RS in disguise.

Its nice to know that there are people out there who support the blues without being doom and gloom merchants, the way this website is run at the moment is set up to keep everyone's opinions open. Post anything positive about our team in TW and expect to be under mortar fire for doing so.

If its not broken don't fix it.

It works in two ways though mate, Most people prefer just to read than to post so preventing it will prompt them to register and in turn, maybe post as they are already registered.

Registrations on forums are higher on those which restrict guest viewing, and thats an actual fact (according to vB anyway...)
