Ya mate if the Potter reports were true I'd imagine they focused on him as their first choice. Since that hasn't worked out I'd imagine they have moved on to talk with the next choice, Moyes, Mourinho or whoever.It might just mean they have to engage seriously in talks with him now, assuming they're interested and Potter is a non-starter. I think that's what you're saying there anyway.
It's all guesswork. The only thing I'd be reasonably hopeful about is that they'll ensure they have someone lined up if and when Dyche gets the axe.
