New Kits 2023/24

You must be the ad man's dream. Can't agree im afraid. I just find them untidy, distracting and humiliating to the people (including fans) who are used as billboards.

Just look at the photos of old games before everyone sold out to get extra cash (which cancelled out the advantage - just like everyone's stupid race to get a bigger car with a higher driving position) - kits looked so much more elegant.
Fair point Chris, but having followed the Mighty Blues for near on forty decades, I have yet to buy a single product advertised on our shirts. I lie - I drank a Chang once, and I won’t be repeating that mistake. And I couldn’t tell you what Danka sell. If we didn’t have nonsense plastered all over the players’ chests and sleeves, we’d be even more skint than we are. Don’t like it much myself, but here we are. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Forty decades? You a vampire or summat?

I go by the thinkingbthat if ALL clubs agreed to ditch shirt sponsorship then they'd all be poorer by a similar amount so none would be disadvantaged and all would regain a little dignity.

They wouldn’t be all poorer by a similar amount. Man United get almost £50m a year from Team Viewer and they make £75m a year from Adidas. Everton’s total turnover last year was £181m

Great ... a leveller then. Let football success come down to how many fans they attract to a stadium, not what some irrelevant corporation wants to pay to advertise its name.
