A fella from Radio City apparently confirmed that it is the shirt.

There we go then
that
A tinpot sponsor for a side supposedly looking to challenge Top4!

Yokohama
AIA
Standard Chartered
Emirates
Etihad
Chevrolet
Sportpesa!
not only that, its a 5 year deal too, imagine walking out at Bramley Moore with this on our shirts, a 35 year old Rooney leading us out, meanwhile Rom, Ross and probably Tom Davies are playing for the premier league elite......hard not to be underwhelmed with Farhads new Everton

I'm as underwhelmed as many are by our new sponser. But those sponsers you refer to sponser clubs who have are at present a far bigger 'brand'. They are regular participants in Europe and all have had exposure in the champions league. Give it till the end of this current deal, we too might have not only developed our brand, but also a team capable of challenging these clubs. Only then could we hope to get 'big brands' to sponser and plough millions into the club.

A fellow Norwegian blue knows Jimmy Martin pretty well and texted him earlier today if he could tell if it really is our new shirt in the pic which was "leaked".
Jimmy texted back that it is not the new shirt.
But there´s no gurantee if good old Jimmy just pulled a prank on him ;)

Depends how hugely impatient and negative you are.

AIA and Standard Chartered - who had actually heard of them before they sponsored Spuds/RS?

Yokohama are a budget tyre company who are making a bid for the premium market so forked out to sponsor a team with maximum exposure.
Same with Chevrolet (aimed at the US market rather than the rebadged Korean cars they sell over here) - ManUre will give them that exposure.

Etihad - pretty obvious why

Emirates - back when Arsenal were winning things

Everton? We don't have the global appeal that others in the top 6 do have. Sponsorship is made on a global level now so teams with the most global exposure will attract the biggest sponsors. We aren't there yet - we're at the beginning of the journey. We can't force major global blue chip companies to sponsor us as they want something in return - exposure to the maximum number of consumers and for the team to be winning things. I really don't see the issue with SportPesa.
