haha i mean you have sports trainers and then nice ones. Can't remember what thew ones i have are called now, but they are nicer ones rather than sports ones. They don't even qualify the same as converse, just fancier ones. like converse but they aren't.
Just messing, I know what you mean. But still, formal trainees though - bears thinking about...

Final weigh in before the wedding (as i couldn't go last week).

15, 2, so not quite breaking the 15 stone conciously but as it is 2 weeks until the next weigh in now i could potentially have broken it by the next one.

So at the end of stage one so to speak, i haven't lost as much a i originally hoped but then i don't think it was relaisitic to keep going that route. I have dropped 6 inches off my waist, dropped from XL to L tops and an inch off my shirts and i do feel a bit better for it. So a fair bit to go, but then i am able to eat and drop a pound or two a week without having to force myself to eat healthy which is a fantastic achievement to get to.

Next target is going to be more realistic and be down to 13 stone or thereabouts by the summer. I am planning on going to scotland in the summer to visit family so be nice to be down that much. Doesn't put too much pressure on me and more importantly allows me to maintain it rather than force it.

6 inches off the waist is mighty impressive pal, well done.

Well done big lad, that's a cracking result even with your mental methods!

Woah, well done.

Well done, you mentalist.

A good way for you to appreciate how much you've lost, is to equate it to something like how many bags of sugar you're weight loss would way.

It's quite startling how much you've lost when you look at it that way ;)

Ps - whereabouts in Scotland are your family ?

Inverness or somewhere near it i think.

Yeah things like fitting into large clothes again (even got a medium jumper) is a bit mad, more so when my trousers are not hanging on me with a belt, just need some more jeans then i can be happy in the thought of how much i have lost already.

Plan of action is to keep getting weighed and hope that the number drops every week still, even if it is a pound only, or half a pound, anything that equates loss is what i want.

Well done mate,

I thought this thread would be locked......bit surprised actually.

For anyone interested. I haven't been doing much over the past couple of months, probably gained a few pounds as my trousers are tighter around the waist. Been eating salads for lunch most days but generally not watching what i eat too much.

However starting from next week i am going jogging with a mate in works son. bit of an awkward one as in my health kick i was well up for it, now can't be arsed but he is running for a great cause for charity so by going i will be supporting him so yeah, can't back out now.

So good news for everyone remotely arsed, this thread will be back in some sort.
