Im not really a film buff, but soon their are two film coming out that im really,really looking forwars to seeing.

1.cloverfield-about a monster in newyork that rips the shiit out of everything an turns people into monsters.....wwwooooooooooooooooo

2.dark night- the new batman. i loved the first batman so much with jack nicholson as the jocker. it was a absolute classic, a dark film the way batman should be.

After that the next three were so shiit i'd call them gravesen.then out of the blue batman begins with christian bale came along. What a film the best batman to date. love it so much. dark,dark,dark film the way it really should be. no more mr ice shiite.

Well has anyone had any sneek prevs of these films. You get a good 5mins on virgin.co.uk/films of cloverfield an the batman trailer looks good. anyone anthing to tell me???

didnt like batman begins, although caine was a bonus.

this time last year 'pans labyrinth' and 'the departed'

there hasnt been much this year, i cant think of one stand out film or performance off the top of my head. (want to see the french film about the famous singer and 'control' the story about the lead singer of joy division)

11 days to the 'alien predator requiem' film...

...should be good for a laugh.

im a bit of a purist, scotts classic horror is timeless, just like his view of androids is a classic.

Word on the street here is that Alien vs Predator Requiem is awful. It sullies the reputation of both aliens, merely going for shock rather than suspense.

plumbing new depths, has there ever been a film sixth in the franchise thats any good? (alien, aliens, alien 3, alien resurrection, A v P, 6th)

no, but Police Academy 7 was right up there with Citizen Kane.

Looking forward to "No Country For Old Men" and "Away From Her" finally getting over here, and "Once" coming out on DVD.

As far as new films go, "There Will Be Blood" sounds interesting, "Lust, Caution" seems better than it originally appeared to be, and "Juno" has been getting raves.

Eagerly awaiting new Batman, Indie & Bond #22.

Just finished watching AvP:R here in the office. I feel pissed off that I wasted my time doing so. It was awful. The acting was sub-par (even for a horror movie), the effects were crap and the editing looked like they put it together in a day. Then the ending blows, like they ran out of money to finish the movie, so it ends abruptly. No real lead-up, just credits rolling.

If I paid to watch this movie I would be seriously pissed off. It was TERRIBLE

jesus. honestly, what did you expect? they will keep making even shittier versions until people stop watching this [Poor language removed].

The only predator movie I ever watched was predator.

In the hope that they will make a good one. That is why I watch. That and I am a huge Predator and Alien fans. I loved Predator, Aliens and Alien. Predator 2 was alright, as was Alien 3. The rest have been [Poor language removed] though.
