New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

You're ignorant. My partner is Jamaican, my brother in law is Indian.

Both would be made to feel unwelcome and unsafe at our new stadium by that flag.

I'm sure you will say 'that's ridiculous' and you will genuinely believe that. You have the privilege of being able to have that opinion because you're a white man in a country rapidly veering towards fascism and a reform party filled with genuine white supremacists.

ANYWAY I know I'm wasting my time and will get told off for talking politics so

Q for anyone at the game yday - Did they play singing the blues at full time?

Yes they did, my only gripe was it wasn't played a little earlier when more fans were in the ground to enjoy it.

I'm going to sound a million years old here but I can't understand the lads who are just recording the match, or random moments in the match, on their phones rather than just watching the game. I'm glad they do it, so we can get these shots, but what a miserable way to experience a match, watching it on a little screen while it's all happening for real in front of you.

Not that I mind , but did anyone else notice the lack of checks today at the boundary wall ? I had my phone out ready but wasn't asked to show it. All my ''neighbours '' said the same . The kids they employ as stewards don't look interested or are scared to ask.
On the plus side the stadium was bouncing today after the penalty. Incredible noise coming down from the South Stand.

They havent asked to see a ticket for two or three games now.

We all need to start reclaiming the flag from racists and redefining it - we are in Britain and it is the British flag

Sorry lad, no more of our countries flags at the game incase people from other parts of the world don't like it. Go to these other places and tell them their flag upsets you and see how that goes. Maybe ask GOT to stop selling the mishmash 🙈

A lad sat by me didn’t stop vaping throughout the entire match. Whilst I don’t care for doing it myself the smoke was blowing directly into the faces of an old couple next door. Nobody seemed to care or do anything but I couldn’t help but think it was a bit disrespectful. Not to mention you could just surely wait for it until half time or something.

We have had it on a few occasions in the family stand.

Surely vaping is not allowed in the ground?

This city is full of ignorant scruffs like that, same with the ones who get on buses where families are, stinking of weed, horrible.

I don`t have a problem with people displaying their nations flags at games, its a way of showing that our clubs support is world wide not just restricted to a small local area. I`ve no problem with someone who sees themselves as British and are proud to be British displaying it at a game. It`s the idiots that make a nuisance of themselves and behave like idiots to intimidate other folks while waving a Union Jack, or a Tri Colour or a Palestine flag that are the problem.

Didn't say anything about any other countries flags. I'm talking about our country and our flag, which is currently being used by racist thugs to intimidate and threaten people.

If you want to be a flag-shagger then by all means, hang it on the front of your own house where it represents YOU alone and let's everyone know exactly what you are.

It shouldn't be allowed in the ground where it represents all of us as a community. Especially at the moment it's embarrassing and inappropriate, I'm sure there are many blue that would agree. As I said in original post, if a Palestine top is not allowed for being 'too political' then the same should apply to this.
