New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

With the council basically declaring a no go zone for cars anywhere near the ground i have to wonder this.
Will they take exception to firms and business's opening up any land they have for match day parking?
Won't hundreds of cars then be swarming the area to find a spec?

My other query is with the zone being 365 days a year and BMD being open to the public during the week, where would you park?
On site maybe? Or another half hour walk to it?

I noticed 2 things in this video,
1. the scaffold camera platforms have disappeared (circled)
2. the bottom corners don't get much protection from the rain (arrow)

I think it would be a bad business decision to open a car park in an area that`s a no go zone for cars.

Walking from town is absolutely no problem for me - but I have sympathy for the thousands of Evertonians for whom it is.

Not everyone is fortunate enough that walking a couple of miles is no big deal.
Took my father in law to a game last season.

It's a 20minute walk from the car to the ground, it took at least twice that. We left early to compensate, but he's 73 and needs a walker, I honestly didn't think he would make it at 1 point.

So yeah, it's not easy for everyone is my point.

By the way, has anybody who bought on credit had any emails from Premium Credit?

The orders email says if you don't confirm the credit agreement in 5 days they cancel the ticket. Today is day 3!!! And no emails.

I nearly always walked back into town after the game from Goodison and found it a great way to work off the frustration that built up from watching some serious inept performances. The walk to BMD looks a lot more straight forward from town without many roads to cross.

People will find the best way to get to the ground that works for them, but what I could see as being a problem is the fact all the traffic to and from from the West Stand will be heading for the same exits as everyone else. At Goodison you have ways for the crowd to leave the area on all side of the ground, but at times it could be crowded on Goodison road and on Gwladys street with the amount of people moving away. The fact that everyone will be heading to the east side of the ground, and another 10k on the attendances, I wonder will this be a bigger problem after the match for people rather than how they get to the ground.
