New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

That’s not the issue though: if you look at capacity per hour of the network and capacity per hour from Sandhills alone, there’s a disparity.
I'm no train nerd so you'd need to explain that to me and how it impacts shifting people by train to and from BMD ?
It'll be interesting to see how they sort queues given shared platform. For example will they have separate queues for northbound destinations or make everyone q together ?

Thing is isn't it great our only worries is how quick we get there and go home, couple of years ago this was a dream now we have a magnificent stadium the envy of everyone... can't wait me not really arsed how long it takes to get in or out just excited to be there 💙
Will you post you`re feelings again on a cold and wet January, when we just get beaten 3-0 at home by Luton, and you`re stood there trying to get to a bus, train, or taxi for an hour?

a lot of the songs mention goodison, was wondering this

will likely get a few ‘woke’ shouts here but feel like royal blue jersey should be a big song at the new ground with the lyrics referring to the royal blue mersey. but a lyric about hanging people is just bad taste now i think. needs altering
The day that we no longer feel comfortable singing old school banter songs is the day football dies its final death. There's nothing "woke" about thinking that the hang the kopites line is bad taste. Its just precious and pearl clutching nonsense.

there’s pearl clutching and there’s the reality of how many people in a 50,000 capacity stadium know someone who has hung themself and might be fed up of hearing it sung as a jibe

Behave ffs. I suppose we shouldn't be allowed to sing songs like "fat Spanish waiter" either because it might offered a few delicate cupcakes too. Its a football banter. If the Royal Blue Mersey song seriously offends anyone they need professional help. Compiling about banter songs is like being offended by bad language at the match. Utter nonsense.

I get your point and understand it but if that was the case we'd have to be careful of every single thing we say. I've just said in a work meeting that I'm drowning in a sea of paperwork. I didn't think about impact that might have. Shall I say I'm up to my neck in it or will that invoke thoughts of strangulation?

I don't know what happened to the Mott Macdonald transport survey it was quite extensive but probably lost along the many documents uploaded on the LCC planning website.

The walk from Bramley-Moore to Sandhills is a similar distance from walking Goodison to Kirkdale which for me has always worked well on a Saturday, not so much on a Sunday when the trains aren't as frequent. This open cattle herding pen though won't be very pleasant for the majority of the season (is incredibly tin pot and at the very least needs a roof).

I just hope in addition Stagecoach put on extra buses than what they have at the moment next to the club shop isn't enough. If there are double the amount of buses and a better queuing system to get on the buses and get them moving back to town and also to Bootle direction quicker then it could all be fine.

Everyones matchday routine is going to change somewhat those who are used to parking for free within 10-15 minute walk of Goodison will have to pay for somewhere private within an industrial zone or on someones driveway in the residential zone

It will be difficult to judge how it works during the test events until we are at full capacity we wont see how these 5 or 6 gaps in the dock wall cope at full time etc.

Walking back to the pubs on Dale street post match providing the weather is bearable seems the best option for me personally but won't want to do that all of the time or hopefully Everton have some good ale on and encourage us to stay for a bit after.

I unfortunately know a good few in my lifetime who've felt like they can't go on no more and done the unthinkable. Not once have they entered my head when the songs been sung. Utter woke nonsense.
