New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The city council has been useless for decades. They hindered growth, waste money, oppose sky scrapers due to looks and haven’t got a clue on how to plan and implement proper public transport infrastructure. This new plan only does one thing, stops business being a success and puts off other potential investors to invest in the area.

It's unacceptable that blue badge holders are restricted from parking in no-parking zones, making it impossible to park within a reasonable walking distance. What’s the situation with these 52 disabled parking spaces, and how can one apply for a space?
Where’s this from? My arl fella has a blue badge and season ticket, thought they could park pretty much anywhere (including double yellows)

Spot on in a nutshell, why can't they see that too? What's the motive to kill traders off?
As I said earlier i can now after taking it in see some logic in controlling private transport on match days.
Let's face it, the route to the ground is a choice between half a dozen rat runs, leading to a bottle stop.
10,000 cars leaving there would be mayhem, bad enough on an empty Sunday afternoon after just visiting the area for a bite and a drink.
However to impose 365 days a year restrictions is madness and a real punch in the guts for business's trying to operate and supporting this supposed "regeneration area".
Public opinion must win over here as it did with Burnhams scatter brained plans for restricted "clean air" zones miles away from central Manchester at the cost of millions to the tax payer. The outcry killed it dead.

Yeah fully agree. There does need to be control of match day traffic in that area absolutely. And your spot on the public and business need to get this canned.

Noticed this earlier…

Leitch pattern on the underside of the big screen
More of a construction coincidence probably rather than design, as it's a strong and cost effective way of making steel structures... But it's a nod in terms of the colours isn't it. Doubt this warehouse is a Leitch tribute for example

The survey has one question asking whether you are for or against and a box to add your comments.

Incredibly comprehensive piece of research methodology…

I agree but bearing in mind it’s for a large screen than to support a large warehouse, then I’m edging more towards a purposeful nod to Leitch.

The transportation issue: I dont think anyone thought that it'd be anything other than a free for all. Years it's been in the background...pushed to the background - understandably because everyone wants to look at a magnificent monument rising up on the edge of the Mersey and focus on that.

But that's us fans. The LCC and LCR and EFC have adopted a plan whereby everything gets ironed out as you go. The strategic planning was absent.

IIRC Destination Kirkby had a lot of the same issues over Kirkby railway station and it was hammered in the Inquiry. The club and the regional bodies had a dry run at this and yet we're here facing a major issue which will definitely lead to some unwanted headlines next season.

And that useless turd Reeves should have been putting some public cash over this direction instead of lending a hand to develop Old Trafford for the richest club in the world.
