Think it's a bit late in the day for concerts to be taking place this summer at the stadium.
Bookings would have been announced by now.
Its not too late yet as Harry Styles has announced today his tour for this summer.

Even on a Monday night? I thought it would be a bit less busy.Take you half an hour to get served
I've worked in the live music industry for the last 25 years, what promoters care about is money. The only thing that will get acts to play our stadium over theirs is if the artist asks to, and I'm not sure Taylor Swift or Beyonce really care which football ground in Liverpool they play at, when one gets them an extra £2 million in ticket sales.I doubt it. They will for the next couple of years, but long term everyone will pick us because of the spectacular nature of the ground and location. The rugby league was and will continue to sell out, but they have stuck with us as it reflects better on any brand than being in a big hole puncher next to a row of closed shops and I think that will be the general trend over time.

Genuine question. But is there much in it once you factor in we have a larger pitch (therefore a higher standing capacity for concerts) and they also have the stage in front of the Anfield Road stand which has a higher capacity (approx 6k more) than our north stand? Assuming we'd put the stage in front of that stand. The RS have a bigger capacity therefore they will get the concerts, yet another reason why the stadium should have been a higher capacity
I don't know anything about the live music industry. But would an act get ticket sales only? Or would they get a % of food/ drink sales too? Or perhaps it depends on a case by case basis? What the plaza does give us is a big area for a captive audience. I don't know a huge amount about Anfield but I'm assuming it's much bigger than anything around their ground? On a nice summers day you could have a fair few thousand more people eating and drinking outside and within the stadium grounds than what Anfield might offer?I've worked in the live music industry for the last 25 years, what promoters care about is money. Honestly don't know, but I would presume the rs would be more. We may have a larger pitch but capacity is usually based on number and size of exits, so that may restrict how many people we would be allowed to have on the pitch.Genuine question. It's a case by case basis. I don't know the terms of the deals the rs are doing, but they've markedly increased their non football income over the last few years so they're doing something right. It's a competitive marketplace and most modern stadia want other income streams especially in the off season.I don't know anything about the live music industry. Be more comfy than Anfield though in our seatsHonestly don't know, but I would presume the rs would be more. We may have a larger pitch but capacity is usually based on number and size of exits, so that may restrict how many people we would be allowed to have on the pitch.
I've already said, and evidenced, in this thread when people were saying this in October (OCTOBER!) that several UK summer stadium gigs from 2025 were announced around February '25.Think it's a bit late in the day for concerts to be taking place this summer at the stadium.

People just decide timeframes without a shred of research!
Can't be bothered retreading, i listed about 5 summer stadium gigs on this thread that played last summer and weren't announced til Feb '25.How come all the usual stadiums that summer concerts get held have announced months back who are performing?
Stadium of Light, Etihad, Anfield etc....
