New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

No, I’ll still go every week as I support Everton.

What I won’t do is help line their pockets by ripping me off. I won’t buy the £9 3x tiny chicken strips and handful of chips, or a £6.50 donut. I won’t pay £6.95 for a Guinness or £12+ for rubbish van food in the fan “plaza”.

My hope is that others follow suit and don’t give in and then Everton will have to address the pricing as they aren’t selling the stock they have pre bought from Aramark.

I’ll also continue to drive and ignore their “please avoid driving” warnings until they work with the council to get better transport links.
And that’s all fair enough, I don’t disagree with you by the way it’s sadly just the price of competing commercially, if we have any chance of ever getting back to the top it’s commercially first and even then I’m not sure we get there!

The transport links are on LCC not the club, but they are hideous we walk 30 minutes to and from Sessions Road just so I don’t have to use the trains.

All that being said, it’s progress and I for one am sick of circling the drain! So I’ll pay for the donut’ 🍩

Everton don’t need to charge more money for catering to become competitive.

Sell for a reasonable cost = you sell more = you make more profit.

Buy in low , charge high, sell less = less profit and it’s not sustainable.

We have more seats, at a higher rate, better sponsorship opportunities and ancillary spend opportunities. The fans shouldn’t be footing the bill on their pint or £7 sausage roll. It genuinely boils blood.

Not trying to sound like a proper tory, but next year I’ll pay for my season ticket and just pick and choose when I go - the cost of losing out on a few matches doesn’t bother me. Everton should know better, imo and they’ve properly balls’d it up.

So, you don't mind losing money when you won't attend games, but won't pay a little extra for a pint? Makes perfect sense

And you’re entitled to your opinion, but it sadly doesn’t work the way you are suggesting. They have to maximise the potential of the ground that means from all revenue streams, not just the ones the fans agree to.

Sadly and this is true, if you don’t want to pay it the next fan will. The only choice you have is not to pay it, and so don’t.

As I said, I hope fans “vote with their feet” and don’t purchase.

Wasted stock is wasted money. They have a contract with Aramark they have to honour. Don’t buy the stuff and prices will drop.

The match day media team need to change things, I want to hear Everton songs in full, not shortened versions from 15 mins before kick off, it gets people singing and builds on up the anticipation, and get the timings right, the siren on repeat yesterday killed the atmosphere, it felt like it was bring your kid to work day and the kid had control of the audio.

The announcement for operation Hill Dickinson was the first time it’s been heard, at first I thought there was going to be an evacuation, again poorly handled.
100% agree.

Don’t count it! Aramark are responsible for the food across the NFL, Tottenhams stadium and multiple other high profile platforms across the globe. They know what there doing and have prices accordingly.
