I think there will be some people not too happy when they see our new sponsor Strauss lit up in red on the advertisement boards

Not on the seats they dont.

I'm fairly certain - though I dont know for sure - that the 1878 lot are being told not to have the word Everton on their flags, banners, Tifo too....unless it's a small EFC or something.

Make no mistake , this is a planned strategy by the stadium company that runs it on behalf of commercial investors to minimise to the point of anonymity Everton's identity at that stadium because they dont want to close off 'the facility' as a general venue.

The battle over this will start in earnest soon. The novelty of the stadium is over.

I’m not sure this is the top issue at the moment.
We’ve got the two worst strikers in the league and have failed to buy a competent full back for over 5 years.
A combination of poor recruitment and an incompetent medical team means that we were hanging on for a draw at Burnley.
The issues on the pitch dwarf any stadium issues.

He has never been near the city of Liverpool, never mind our new stadium. It is completely laughable that there are people on here who still think he is just a disgruntled blue. Either a relative or love interest (or both) of his was absolutely rattled by an Evertonian years ago, and for him this is revenge.

I disagree profoundly. I think it dwarfs those on-pitch issues. You have nothing if you dont have identity - because if you dont have identity you dont have meaning.

Soon as people sit in the stadium you wouldn't see Everton on the seats anyhow. It would be nice to see but not something to kick off about.
