New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Ah, I see we’ve entered the latest round of ‘stadium isn’t finished’. How lovely.
The physical stadium is finished and has been for a while; a fair percentage of the hospitality got their licences this week, so are now ready for Roma.

The outfitting of the signage etc., which are contractors with nothing to do with LOR, isn't done yet, but it isn't needed to be operational.

It really will be all hands to the pump over the next couple of weeks as all the HD branding will have to be up, all the Everton banners and any finishing touches applied ready for Roma/Brighton.
If only it had been pointed out that the football season starts in August four years ago, someone might have planed to have it finished and ready by the end of July at least.

Absolutely, 100% spot on. But folk do love a moan don’t they? All will be done for Brighton.

It’ll look better.

It’s the same blue as the seats, and the rest of the stadium will have the advert boards separating the two tiers.

The bare concrete would leap out much more than the blue.
Always wondered how visible it would be with a full house anyway, the lower bit is safe standing right, so most people will be stood for most of the game (I would expect / hope) so always wondered if those concrete risers would even be that apparent.

I find the disabled sections more contrasting tbh.
I thought a row of blue seats along the back wall for additional family / friends of folk in that section would be better but apparently such thoughts puts me in the same bracket as Stalin, Hitler and Saddam 🤷🏻‍♂️

Personally, I think they’ve made them too tall.

Perhaps it’s a regulation thing, but ideally - from the first row of the upper tier - you’d want the back row of standing to have a head height similar to a seated row without the riser.
