New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Was speaking to someone yesterday who said they had worked on the stadium, according to him the scaffolding that has been put up is something to do with the steel, whatever the steel has been coated with is peeling off. Another interesting thing he said was that it came as no surprise because the rumours were the company coating the steel had made a botched job because they were under pressure to get it done.
Building a stadium with significant exposed steelwork next to a river adjacent to open sea and salt water. The choice of materials to prevent this should have been a day one priority. Could be an expensive retro fix for LOR.
